ANGELS CRY
A Psychological Crime Thriller
In a city gripped by fear, women are disappearing—and one undercover cop is willing to risk everything to stop the carnage.

Shane Sterns is walking a razor’s edge between duty and desire. Embedded deep within a violent drug syndicate, his mission is clear: take them down from the inside. But when Charlie, the woman he’s never stopped loving, stumbles into the path of danger, Shane faces an impossible choice—protect his cover, or protect her.

As Shane sinks deeper into a world of crime, addiction, and human trafficking, the line between justice and vengeance blurs. Charlie may hold the key to blowing the operation wide open—but getting too close could get them both killed.

ANGELS CRY is a dark, emotionally charged psychological thriller that blends slow-burn tension with razor-sharp suspense. Perfect for fans of Gillian Flynn and early Karin Slaughter.

This book will manage to break your heart while getting you to swiftly turn the pages in the hope of getting some answers. The story is so elegantly-presented and the characters are all quite interesting. It is also a light-and-fast-paced-read that once you start reading, I doubt you'd want to put down, so if you're up for the challenge, you should definitely get your hands on a copy of "Angels Cry". You won't regret it, I promise! -- Bookishly Ever After

Here were lots of twists and turns, and the plot was very interesting. We have detective Peter Lazarus who loves being an undercover cop. Then we have Charlotte Palmer who knows Peter from a different time. Their worlds collide again and it's a fight to the end to see who will survive. There is a dark edge to this entire story, so be forewarned. This story was a short quick read but I enjoyed it very much.
